Anamul Hassan, the main man! Three- two thriller wipes away any residual memories of the national team.
First round of ICT Cup
And you thought the ICT guys could just play Pro Evolution Soccer, turns out they’re not so bad at the real thing…
After a Dyer (sorry, I know I’ve used that before, but it’s still funny!) England match last night what a relief it was to see some real football finally. After school, the ICT classes of Mr Molefi and Mr Chaudhri met in the upper school cage for the much anticipated first round ICT cup (I think all the other subjects should have matches and then different subjects go head to head, can this be arranged? Pat, Kevin, Ricardo, Craig and I will be representing Geography crew if this idea goes through)-you won’t get players poaching each others goals here, Nugent cough cough and you’ll probably see more goals. I was very disappointed to see that Mr Chaudhri was not playing himself but took on the role of ref/manager for the wittily named Chad’s Army team, with Mr Moleif’s class employing the equally brilliant moniker of The Molef Heads-pure genius! I’m not sure how unbiased a ref he was, he seemed to be shouting instructions out which I don’t believe is a ref’s job, but then look at Graham Poll and they still let him on the pitch-“what you can’t give three yellow cards?”
I’m sorry to say I missed kick off and some of the first half but I turned up and joined the crowd, who were initially quite subdued but got much rowdier, just in time to see Anamul racing down the pitch, do some tidy one twos with Danny and for Danny to shoot wide, it was very close. Anamul was ruling the pitch in the first half and was key to everything that was going on, rather like a certain MrFF. The one and only Craigy G was on top form as usual and Danny was impressing and playing well (or should I say linking well to sound extra professional?) with Anamul. Actually I’d like to big up everyone but that will take up too much time-unlike the England team, players on both sides were giving it their all and put on a good show. The end of the first half saw a bombardment of shots on target from Anamul’s team, it was truly thrilling, they were certainly putting the pressure on Simon, the Chad’s Army goalkeeper. This hot period saw three near misses from the Molef Head’s-from Danny, Chris and then Danny again.
Ashley pointed out that the balance of play turned from Anamul’s team due to the substitution which saw Peter come off for Yan-who looked like Nero or some sort of gangster in his dark glasses-bringing a little glamour to the game. Talking of glamour-I must say Anamul was looking very dashing in those ¾ length trackies and top! I wasn’t aware that Yan’s inclusion was the catalyst for this change, I just saw him trip over a couple of times, but the second half certainly saw Chad’s Army come back into the match and put pressure on The Molef Heads. It was probably down to an inspiring managerial talk from Mr Chaudhri at half time. A dubious free kick saw Jonathon kick the ball past Richard to bring them back into the match. Before this, Anamul had scored an emphatic sweeping goal past Simon taking the score to 3-1. The score at full time was 3-2. It was perhaps 4-2 as Anamul scored again just after the whistle, but injury time had been forgotten so if it hadn’t been, this goal would have stood.
Comments from the crowd:
Patricia: “Judas, Judas!” (to me as I was supporting the Molef Heads rather than my form tutor’s team), also, “Jonathon Rickards was very good and had a lot of possession”
Ads: “Lewis was a central part of the team at the back but was by himself” “There’s only one Anauml!”
Ashley: “Yan made a slight difference-Molef Heads had less chances.”
Post match interviews with the captains
Anamul: “It was a good match, tiring…I put blood, sweat and tears into it…a great and sexy performance from the lads.
It wasn’t a free kick-Micheal Gibbs fell.”
On who is his inspiration: “It’s got to be one person-my dad. My inspiration is me. OK I’ll say Fabregas.”
What would you say to Arsenal who are struggling at the moment? Any advice? “They need top players like me.”
Jonathon: “It was tiring-the team was rubbish…no support up front-the rest of them were tired. I was pleased I got the 2 goals though and hit the post.”
NB. Mike Eastwood was playing with an injury-left knee, cartilage behind the knee cap gone. If he plays like this with an injury-a fully fit Mike will be quite powerful force-he played very well in the match.
Man of the match: Anamul Hassan
Key player, constantly at the centre of the action, always creating chances for himself and those around him, and is very selfless-always passing it on when he can. Can link up well with everyone around him. A good leader too.
The Molef Heads: Craig, Anamul, Richard, Danny, Chris, Mike
Chad’s army: Lewis, Simon, Peter (Yan), Jonathon, Michael Gibbs
Final thoughts: It was a much deserved win, I saw Anamul and Craig drawing up their game plan in our free period, they were very professional in their approach to the match and it showed in their play. I have the match plans which I shall be auctioning on eBay-only joking; I shall keep them as a souvenir and treasure them forever!

Dyer England and IT football!
Kieron: "Another Dyer performance from England".
Nothing new then I guess-Gerrard was good, I was shocked at Nugent poaching poor Defore's goal-if that was me I would be so mad! After the dissappointment, hopefully the IT match will be more thrilling! I see Craigy G and Anamul are planning and working out tatics-good work boys! I shall be supporting Mr Chaudhri's team as he is my form tutor! Big Up Mr C!

Goals at both ends!
A great match today in the drizzle! We all played with much vigor! Teams were-team 1: Craigy G (I love him!), Teaguey, Lewis and Anamul. Team 2-Me!, Johnathon, Michael Gibbs and Ads (We all love him!). Although Teague tried to trick me into believing that I was playing for his team-which wasn't true-I found out too late! Having scored an own goal as I tried to scoop it out of the goal and ended up nudging/bungling/"booting" as Craigy G said, into the goal, oh the shame! But it was OK as I went on to hit a driving shot past Lewis! Lewis would like to point out it was Anamul's fault , "a useless defender" but I love Anamul so I don't believe it! Just like Alex from PSV Einhoven! Great game overall, I liked my team a lot, but missed playing with my buddy Anamul! Anyway, I'm just rambling! Much love to you all! Izzy xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I can't quite believe it, and I don't think Anamul could either when he saw me hit in those 4 goals! OOps better go now, Chinese Club are coming!

My first ever goalllllllllllllllllllll!
Wow, it was so amazing! I was on Anamul's team with Ashley too, it's all a bit of a blur now, but I was racing along with the ball, took a shot and it rolled in slow motion in at the right post past Peter! I flew around like an aeroplane for a bit-was sublime! Go me!
Updates!
Footy updates, Read all about it! Read all about it!
Have been distracted of late and haven’t written any 6th form Sharks updates in a while, but I will be sure to do so soon. I guess what with me now playing too, writing about matches is a bit more difficult. OK so I’ve only played in two matches, so it’s not much of an excuse, but my first match was rather successful-I hit the crossbar after some good play with Anamul who set me up but later on I missed a sitter provided by Teague-the less said about that the better. It was so much fun playing with you guys, and I’m chuffed that you are patient with me and don’t mind me screaming that much-I promise I will try to stop though! I feel my football career is coming along nicely. Anyway, enough about me-lots of other news:
· Sixth form Sharks have recently (the past two matches) had problems with surplus players-the pitch is so crowded and great players are seeing less of the ball and there is less brilliance being produced. It’s all a bit chaotic. I’m sure things will sort themselves out-according to Darwin’s natural selection the better players will sick it out and the not so good ones will drift off. However I don’t really believe this as it seems a bit un-politically correct and I have love for everyone.
· Sixth form Sharks missing Craigy G. Come back soon!
· The charity match-European greats Vs Manchester United greats. I wish I could watch it, it looks like it’d be really interesting. The European side has amazing players, the crème de la crème, but as they are not used to playing with one another, will they make a potent team? Larsson only just played his last ever match for Man U and already he’s playing against them.
· Messi scored a hat trick in what I heard was an exhilarating match on Sunday (was it?)-damn not having Sky football channels, I want to see it! Barcelona V Real Madrid was 3-3
· I have a gorgeous Arsenal scarf that I shall be rocking out in today! Don’t forget to big me up when you see it!
· Off to see the Arsenal youth team FA cup semi final v Man U! Will be wearing the scarf with pride.
· If I have a child and he is a boy, I will call him Francesc because I am quite taken by the name!
· And finally…“Your mother is a whore” (no disrespect, peace)

Yesterday's football!
I scored a penalty past Lewis yesterday, it was a brilliant! The feeling was sublime-it was a beautiful driving shot in the bottom right corner-Lewis dived but it was just too good for him! Mwah ha ha!
And Anamul passed the ball to me in the match and set me up but I hit it wide! Sorry Namless! But thanks mucho mucho!
If any of you guys want to come and see the Arsenal youth team next Wednesday at Emirates-let me know...see ya dudes

Lots of fun!
Lots of news to report so I don't really know where to start, I have three posts to work on:

Match report of today's break time game.
Your five a side dream team.
So here goes...
Arsenal bomb, Sixth form sharks soar!
After a disappointing match last night-damn awful, didn't even bother to watch it-it was great to watch the 6th form sharks this morning playing an enthralling game in the sunshine. A sweeping shot from Teague past a sprawling Lewis put them in the lead but the other team weren't about to sit back and be walked all over, rather it was a game of attacking at both ends. A scrambled goal was scored by Craig as Peter tried and failed to grasp onto it. Teague then scored again to add to this seasons impressive tally. Craig took a good corner which was hit away by Peter. And then along comes the silent assassin. After rather poor form of late Jake bounced back and shut up his critics with what could be as his best performance to date-although many still to come I am certain. He scored a brilliant goal past Lewis and his celebration dance afterwards was almost as sublime, Henry and Adebayor had better get some new moves coz JC has set a whole new standard. I missed Anamul scoring as I was listening to Mr Capon talking about Fair Trade, but I am sure it was also very amazing. There was a lot of long and accurate passing shots from Jake and he found himself being the backbone of the midfield and playing a prominent role throughout. ON the flanks was the ever potent Craig, always ready to score when the ball is provided for him-an often very stylishly too. Craig hit a goal past Peter, who did not react, standing rooted to the spot. As the final minutes approached the crowd were roaring their appreciation for such an explosive match. Dan scored for the first time ever which was super. Both teams were gunning for it-determined to get the next goal. Jake made an emphatic shot, a narrow miss. Mike made a good goal which just about crossed the line. We thought it was all over when Teague scored a world class goal, a volley from within his own half with Lewis not standing a chance. Craig hit a similar beautiful volley shot but this was met with an impressive save from Peter- his only remarkable save in what was a lacklustre match for him. However after this first near miss, Criag was determined to score. When we all thought Teague's goal had sealed it, Criag tapped in a neat little shot past the fumbling Peter.
There was a fight after the match with the losing team taking out their anger on Peter and beating him up-thankfully there was not a repeat of the fiasco at the Carling Cut final and everything was brought under control.
