Holy Kaka!
Reasons why I love football (and it’s not just because of some those dashing AC Milan players!)
Watching Manchester United v AC Milan encapsulated everything I love about football. It was a truly brilliant experience! Sheer joy at the first goal then as we found ourselves 2-1 down to the feet of Kaka, the nerves started to kick in to a point where I couldn’t actually watch it and felt physically sick (salad, pasta, chocolate, M&S fruit box may have been overdoing it slightly too), to make things worse United began passing poorly and Ronaldo was loosing the ball – how often do you see that? I counted 4 times, 4 whole times! Seeing Kaka play for the first time for me was pretty exciting stuff – he was mightily impressive and nice to watch but Ronaldo in my eyes is still the best. I like Kaka though, apart from when he’s scoring past Van der Saar. At the end of the first half it was all doom and gloom in the commentators’ box, they were rambling away and seemed to have given up hope which riled me a bit and I tried not to listen. The second half saw an absolute turn about; United dominated possession and belief. They were at their very best – the United that is thrilling and a pleasure to watch, where – although it sounds cliché – anything can happen, even if all of your first choice defenders are out. Quick, neat passes…and I dared not think it would, but secretly knew what was on its way…GOAL! Roo-ney! 2-2 and everything seemed OK again, my stomach muscles could relax a little and the commentators had nothing to say for a while. Man United were back in it and I can quite confidently say were the better team (after the first half where I was grudgingly admitting that AC Milan were rather good). The second half flew by in a whirl of red Manchester United shirts. Loads of chances were created but didn’t seem to be making it to the back of the net; Dida was kept on his toes and was making lots of good saves. Thinking they deserved another goal but deciding that 2-2 was good enough, the two minutes injury time I thought would be about keeping possession and nothing more. That was until something happened and all of a sudden Rooney was blazing a fabulous goal – the best of the match? Past an unsuspecting Dida…so Milan defender, so Dida, you thought he was gonna take another touch? Actually I was rather surprised too and could hardly believe it. Once again I found myself longing to be at Old Trafford – as the crowd went absolutely wild. Amazing stuff!
Stuff I loved about this match:
Feeling physically sick, stadium fraught with tension and Ronaldo still has the panache to produce successions of step overs.
6 defenders around one man…it could only be Ronaldo.
Oooh Kaka – he’s good!
And the young French substitute who came on was looking highly attractive – they say he’s the next Zidane. There was another good looking Milan player but I’ve forgotten his number and name…I shall look them up on the web!
O’Shea doing some step overs too!
Someone doing step overs and then a nutmeg…was it Cristiano? Can’t remember, but I reckon so, then again it could have been O’Shea!
Gattuso – does his name mean “little cat”?
Wayne Rooney’s post match interview – the press haven’t painted an all too rosey picture of young Wayne but he came across really well I thought and seems like a decent bloke.
We’re winning, we’re losing, we’re drawing, we’ve won!

Bonjour Isabellé. I am ze hot french dude you are talking about. However I am married to football and can never commit. However I can hook you up with another milan player like maldini or the manager. Especially the manager. I will send u a video of him in what french people call 'action.' Ar revoiur senorita.
Hiya Yoann! I have just googled imaged Maldini and I'm not sure he's my type - the manager is far too old and seeing as you are just 2 years older than me, I think we would make the perfect couple! I don't mind if football comes first - I could be your bit on the side! I would love to watch you play and come to all your matches! But I will be supporting United next Wednesday - sorry but I love ROnaldo too much and United are my team (as well as Arsenal when they can be bothered to score - dont tell Cesc!) Thanks for getting back to me - much love, izzy xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
