But the team made an equally brilliant snowballer team as we fought against the year 10s. Notable snowball throwers were Adam, Anamul, Jake, Craig...everyone! Good job guys! Love it!
"For Crouching out loud!" as my mum so aptly put it.
So last nights match! And another disappointment, but surely you can't be disappointed because you should know what to expect from England by now! I was supporting Spain (but was upset to see Alonso was not playing and Cesc only got a couple of minutes) not just because of their handsome players (cough, Cesc, Alonso, Villa, Torres and Puyos hair is something else!) but because whatever they do will be more exciting than England and I've heard great things about Villa and Cesc is such a talent, so Spain all the way! Not much to report match wise (the England team should watch the 6th form Sharks to get some inspiration and learn how to play a good match). England began really well and set a fast tempo, then things just tailed off. The Spanish goal keeper had practically nothing to do. It proved to be extremely boring and I had to force myself to carry on watching...I started to wonder what I liked about football, then I remembered that any match that is not England is usually thrilling, with skills, beautiful footwork, passion, goals on target etc. There was one decent shot on target from Michael Carrick (who is growing on me, was never that impressed before, but he's winning brownie points these days!) and that's about it. Roll on Israel!
Obviously this was a bad match because, although it was planned, Craigy G did not make his debut.
Craigy G why was this?
What do you think you would have brought to this match?
Would you have been able to turn it around?
Keenly awaiting your response.

what can i say. im sorry craigy g. words cant describe my upset. it was a game of two halves, fought to the end by lanky old crouch. and whats with woodgate's haircut? thats probably why we lost!! and the italian guy was offside! i cant believe the linesman didn't see that!! however, the only thing that i blame for this lose is climate change! and it doesn't help that people go away snowboarding, putting carbon dioxide into the air! and then saying that it was a one off whilst arranging another trip! utter C.R.A.P.(which is trying to stop climate change). anyway, we'll bounce back and the next match, i should be introducing Craigy G into the team as a lone striker/midfielder/defender/goalie/manager/physio. i think that will make a difference. Im sorry again. From Stevie
its not my fault im tall. i've just grown this way. please dont blame me for the defeat. football is a team game and we are not a one man team. i agree with izzy though, having a proper lone striker on the pitch would've made a huge difference. i dont know why McClaren didn't atleast include craigy g into the team. that would've made a massive difference cos he is sooooooooo talented. i'll keep reading and commenting to track his progress, bye!
I agree Crouchy! You can't take all the blame-but you did miss a pretty good chance at one point! Hopefully Craigy G will be playing against Israel and will be playing up front with you and will help you score lots of goals! Yes, you'd better keep you eye on Craigy, I am too, he is a rare talent and is known to score LOADS of great goals in our school matches! Brap brap!
Looking forward to the matches this weekend! And I don't have work!
Steve, I totally agree with you, these people and their snowboarding trips-it makes me sick! Honestly we should be taking this climate change stuff seriously! What Italian? There was no Italian?!
Yo Izzy,I just sorted out vidic. He won't be seeing you for a while, he he he. Also Cesc fabrgas is long gone now as I have set him up with brazilian supermodel Pupu.
